Big data can really help to improve strategic workforce planning, but organizations must analyze the results properly, according to Kim Pope, chief operating officer at WilsonHCG.
Kim made the comments when she spoke to journalists from the Forbes Human Resources Council about the benefits of big data in talent acquisition and human resources.
During the interview with journalists, she said: "Taking a full view of all HR data lends insight into how to manage what has become a decentralized talent landscape due to the influx of employees with alternative work arrangements (e.g., contract, gig, freelance and part-time employees)."
The Forbes Human Resources Council is a global invitation-only community for HR executives across all industries.
Kim, who has more than 15 years of experience in the talent acquisition and recruitment process outsourcing industry, was vetted and accepted by a review committee in 2019 based on the depth and diversity of her experience. Criteria for selection include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.
