Kim Pope, chief operating officer at WilsonHCG, has been speaking to the Tampa Bay Business Journal about what drives her to succeed, what her goals are and the best piece of advice she would give to women starting their careers.

Kim, who leads the global delivery team to develop solutions to help WilsonHCG's clients create proactive talent acquisition strategies that fuel growth and innovation, was  named a 2019 Tampa Bay Business Journal BusinessWoman of the Year honoree.

She is one of just 27 women to receive the recognition after being chosen from more than 300 nominations. The award honors the region’s “most powerful and influential businesswomen.”

Kim was also name to SIA’s 40 under 40 list in 2019. The recognition by SIA, a global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, honors the contributions of leaders in the region who are under the age of 40.
