WilsonHCG named a 2020 Cigna Well-Being Award winner

--Tampa, Fla – WilsonHCG has been named a 2020 Cigna Well-Being Award winner for its commitment to improving the health and well-being of its employees.

The well-being award recognizes areas such as leadership, organizational foundations, policy and environment, program implementation and participation.

“Employee well-being is a top priority at WilsonHCG, so we’re honored to receive this recognition. We adapted our well-being program last year to help better support our employees through the pandemic,” said Marisol Hughes, EVP and General Counsel, WilsonHCG. “We introduced additional flexible working practices for those juggling childcare, e-learning and other caregiving responsibilities including options like flexible start and finish times, a condensed work week, an elongated work week or reducing total weekly working hours all together. We know it’s a challenging time right now, so we want to help our employees as much as we can. We also focused on mental health and stress management, offering free and confidential resources to help cope with the ‘new normal.’ We check in with our colleagues often to gauge what they think of our well-being offerings, so we can alter it continuously to better support their needs,” she added.

WilsonHCG’s comprehensive well-being program includes regular seminars on the importance of healthy eating and nutrition, tips and support on financial wellness, activity and fitness competitions, medical programs, subsidized gym memberships and more.
