WilsonHCG CFO Ken Bowles addresses the importance of being a team player
December 1, 2021
If you’re a CEO seeking a CFO, there are several things you should consider during the hiring stages. CEOs and CFOs work closely together, so compatibility is key.
In a recent article, the Business Journals Leadership Trust shares some questions that CEOs can ask CFO candidates in order for both parties to learn more about each other during the recruitment process.
Ken Bowles, CFO at WilsonHCG, said CEOs should ask a CFO candidate if they are a team player. He suggested CEOs need a CFO who will always be ready to offer advice on most business-related matters.
“Gone are the days when a CFO just looked after the finances. Today, they are strategic advisors to the business,” Bowles added.
