Podcast: Ken Bowles' military transition into corporate finance

Ken Bowles, CFO at WilsonHCG, was invited on the CFO Thought Leader podcast to discuss his career transition from active military to corporate finance.

“When you’re going out to try to find a new opportunity, the transition can be difficult because a lot of the skills that you learn in the military don’t seem as though they’re transferable,” remarks Bowles.

“You have to do a lot of explaining with regard to exactly what you did in the service and how it can be applied to different types of jobs — and this is particularly true when you get into something like finance,” he added.
