Ken Bowles: Employee resource groups can promote DEIB

Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) is a top priority for many companies.
Ken Bowles, chief financial officer at WilsonHCG, joined members of the Business Journals Leadership Trust to discuss simple ways leaders can promote DEIB in the workplace.
He suggested launching employee resource groups (ERGs) to give underrepresented employees a voice. Bowles also emphasized the role leadership plays in promoting DEIB. “Fostering a culture of diversity and belonging really does start from the top down,” he concluded.
