March is the month that we honor Women of Wilson. This initiative is designed to recognize and thank the women who are innovating, leading by example and helping to create the great successes we’re experiencing here at WilsonHCG.

We asked staff to nominate the women they think deserve to be honored and we've been speaking to the six finalists to find out more about them.

Jennifer Cranford, an Account Director, is one of our finalists. She is based in Pennsylvania, USA and has worked at WilsonHCG for one and a half years.

What advice would you give someone looking to advance into a leadership role?

Observe the leaders you most admire and emulate them. Care about people, be an active listener, always listen for the message that isn’t being communicated. Sometimes what isn’t said is as important as what is. Finally, own your mistakes. We all make them, it is how we learn!

Who is a woman in history you admire and why?

I admire Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She is a pioneer for women who has lived an amazing life so far. Love her or hate her, she always rules the way that her head leads her.

What is one of the things you would put on your bucket list?

I would love to go to Lithuania to see where my mom’s side of the family is from. My nana and grandfather both moved to the US from Lithuania and my nana (who is 98 years old) is one of the most extraordinary people I have ever met.

Are you a morning or night person?

I am a morning person. I love getting up and getting my day organized and started while it's quiet. I feel like I get so much accomplished in the morning.

What is one of your weird quirks?

I love the weather. I am obsessed with storms and watching the weather channel during weather events.

Passionate, loyal, outgoing.

If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

I’m pretty content with my own life! I work for an amazing company, have an outstanding team, and adore my family. I am, all in all, I’m a pretty fortunate person!
