Business Journals Leadership Trust: WilsonHCG’s Ken Bowles talks technology in the finance sector

Written by WilsonHCG | Oct 6, 2020 7:28:16 AM

Technology has helped to revolutionize the finance industry over the years and continues to do so.

Ken Bowles, chief financial officer at WilsonHCG, has been speaking to journalists at the Business Journals Leadership Trust about technology developments in the finance sector.

Ken, who has primary responsibility for managing WilsonHCG’s financial growth and oversees accounting, finance, forecasting, and private and institutional financing, said artificial intelligence (AI) has helped to transform many processes in finances from account reconciliations to accounts payable and receivable.

“The possibilities continue to expand every day. AI enables us to eliminate or reduce day-to-day tasks and shift the focus of finance to incremental value-added activities that drive accountability, profitability and growth,” hadded.

Ken has more than 20 years' experience in corporate leadership and finance. He joined WilsonHCG from Florida-based technology firm, Tribridge, where he served as CFO. Ken previously spent 15 years at GE where he held numerous roles across commercial finance, supply chain, financial planning and analysis, as well as M&A.
