Working from home has become the new normal for many people. Keeping employees engaged in a virtual world can be tough for those who are not used to working remotely though.
During an interview with reporters from the Business Journals Leadership Trust, Ken Bowles, CFO at WilsonHCG, said it’s important to make sure that remote meetings aren’t all about work. He suggested starting meetings with a fun icebreaker.
He also said sharing a fun fact at the start of virtual meetings allows employees to “see the human behind the job title.”
