Valeria Obi, corporate counsel at WilsonHCG, has received the 2022 Lynn Futch Most Productive Young Lawyer Award from the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.

This prestigious honor recognizes Obi’s exemplary leadership and service in the Florida legal community. It follows her recent election to the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Board of Directors and appointment to the Florida Bar Board of Governors.

Obi said: “This award is very meaningful to me because it’s through this profession that I gained the confidence to trust myself more, that I learned the value of building genuine connections with others and that I recognized the importance of providing pro bono services for those in need. It’s only right that I give back to my profession because of all that it’s given me.”

Marisol Hughes, EVP and General Counsel, added: “This recognition is much deserved. We’re honored to have Valeria on the team at WilsonHCG.”

In her role at WilsonHCG, Obi, who has a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and English Literature from Florida State University, focuses on employment law, compliance, contracts, data privacy, entity management and more.
